Head of Marketing

Quality Compliance Systems (QCS) is a fast-growing SaaS company. We seek to appoint a Head of Marketing to design and own our company marketing strategy. The goal – to take market share and help QCS achieve our growth plans.  

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Head of Marketing will lead a programme with a broad remit: 

  • Lead generation 
  • Digital channels - website, email marketing, social media 
  • Development of marketing effectiveness of CRM 
  • Brand building 
  • Events programme 
  • Content generation  

QCS is successful already, without having a marketing programme fully established. We have achieved growth of 15% in headcount and 30% in revenues year on year, and recognise an effective marketing programme can super-charge this growth. 

We are a business which acts at pace, and we are keen to begin realising the benefits of an effective marketing engine. We will give the Head of Marketing plenty of scope and in return expect you to challenge the business in our thinking and stand up for what's right, driving positive change within QCS. You will have some support with getting things implemented - there's one/two direct report already in situ, and if things really take off, further headcount is expected to be provided to oversee the complexities of the marketing programme that is being implemented. 

We want someone who's driven and keen to make a positive impact, who's adept at thinking strategically, data driven and happy to act operationally, rolling your sleeves up and getting things implemented, who's high energy, enthusiastic and ambitious to succeed. Who is ready to make their mark! 

We require: 

  • A senior leader with business experience that will gain the respect of the Senior Leadership Team and establish marketing credibility at the boardroom table.  
  • A hands-on individual who's as 'at home' in a start-up type environment as you would be in a global organisation, able to work at pace to get things up and running 
  • A brand/marketing expert from a technology, SaaS, B2B or a combination of B2B and B2C. 
  • Broad marketing knowledge across lead generation, PR & Comms, content generation and CRM. 
  • The PR experience to design and deliver a PR strategy that will achieve the required results.  
  • Leadership not afraid to muck in, likes to do a bit of copy creation or media work. 
  • A real entrepreneurial mindset, you are something of a growth hacker, not afraid to try new things and innovate. 
  • Sharp, analytical data driven thinking with a real interest in making a positive mark.
  • You are inspiring, energised, with the grit and ambition to succeed!
